Remove location data from your photos.

Photos can carry hidden details like where they were taken, which phone took them and when. This tool shows what’s there and removes it inside your browser, without re-compressing the image.

Everything you type stays in this page, in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored. No sign-up.

Your photos never leave your device. They are read and cleaned inside this page and nothing is uploaded.

Using an iPhone?

iPhones often save photos as HEIC, which browsers can’t clean. Either set Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible so new photos save as JPEG, or share the photo and choose to send it as JPEG, then clean that copy here.

This removes hidden data, not what’s visible. Check for windows, post, uniforms, tattoos and reflections.

Questions people ask

Do photos really contain my location?

Many phones save GPS coordinates inside photos unless location is turned off for the camera. Some apps remove it when you post, but not all do, and files you send directly may keep it.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The files are read and cleaned inside this page. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored.

Why can’t I clean HEIC photos?

Most browsers can’t read the HEIC format. Set your iPhone camera to Most Compatible, or share the photo as JPEG, then clean that copy.

Is removing metadata enough to stay private?

It removes hidden data, not what is visible. Check backgrounds for windows, post, uniforms, tattoos, reflections and anything else that could identify you or where you are.
